 Daniel Smith Industries own and operate New Zealand’s largest and most modern fleet of cranes, consisting of:
- Crawler cranes
- Hydraulic mobile, all terrain and rough terrain cranes
- Pick and carry cranes
- Telescopic forklifts
- Overhead gantry cranes (rubber self propelled and rail types)
Our crane fleet is utilised for ‘in house’ construction projects, operated and managed rental contracts, dry hire rental arrangements, and lump sum transport and lifting operations, for both short and long term periods. Our lifting resources have been involved in many bridge, marine, port, petrochemical, wind power generation, hydro and electrical generation, dairy industry, commercial and high rise building, and film projects throughout New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands and even Antarctica.
Daniel Smith Industries own and operate New Zealand’s largest and most modern crane fleet. We have capacity of single lifting 750 ton and can reach heights to 192 metres utilising our new 2010 Liebherr 1750 750 ton crawler crane Daniel Smith Industries are continually investing in new and quality equipment, which is supplied from recognised manufacturers from all over the world.
We have the personnel, management and equipment resources to complete most lifting solutions. Our personnel form a team of long serving, reliable and mobile people whom know how to complete projects in a safe, efficient and friendly manner.
